http://www.livejournal.com – its a journal type community, and if you search the interest for ‘photoshop’ a LOT of communities pop up. I’m in a few myself, though I’m still a beginner.

How much do you know already?

If you’re a beginner, take a college course or two.

(Yes, it really is that complicated.)

If you have the basics down, any book or site by Deke McClelland will be a huge source of tips and tricks.

hope these help!! some local colleges or community colleges offer “digital darkroom” classes, look it up!

I agree with V2K1. To really know, use and be expert at Photoshop, you really need some kind of structured education.

That said, CS3 comes with a wonderful tutorial disk and there is also a link on the curriculum itself when open.
